Join us on August 7th at Forest Park Golf Course for a day where sport meets purpose. The Fairways to Function Classic brings our community together to support the PGA REACH Gateway Foundation. PGA REACH is dedicated to opening the game of golf to everyone through three core pillars: Youth, Military, and Inclusion.
Through flagship programs like PGA HOPE and PGA ABLE, the foundation provides free golf instruction to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities. Led by PGA Professionals specifically trained in adaptive golf, and in partnership with local organizations like the VA, Paraquad, and Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, these clinics ensure that every aspiring golfer—adult or child—has a place on the green.
Your participation in this tournament directly fuels the growth of one-of-a-kind PGA REACH programs. By removing barriers to entry, this initiative ensures that regardless of ability, every aspiring golfer has a place on the green. We invite you to be part of this mission to open the game to all. Sponsorship opportunities are available for those who wish to further support this impactful cause.

The right instruction changes everything. PGA ABLE (Abilities Beyond Life’s Expectations) pairs individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities, or other medical complications, with adaptive-certified PGA of America Professionals who know how to meet every student where they are. No limitations. Just golf.
What does PGA ABLE look like?
A typical PGA ABLE clinic runs 6-8 weeks, with participants learning putting, chipping and more from adaptive-certified PGA of America Professionals. Every session is built around the people in it — customized to individual needs and abilities, and designed to be as fun as it is instructional. Group sizes range from one-on-one to a 3-to-1 student-to-Professional ratio.
