We recognize the many challenges to high school graduation North St. Louis youth face. The #1 concern is idle time and how, often times, it’s spent in a negative way. 80% of a student’s walking hours are spend outside the classroom each year.
Our response? PGA REACH Gateway partners with local organizations that already make a positive impact towards this idle time and contributes additional programming, volunteers, and resources to further our collective impact. We keep kids in school through our educational programming, mentoring, and healthy activities that leads to lowered absenteeism, improvement in grades & GPA, and decreased behavioral issues.
