The Gateway PGA Pro-Staff Championship at The Legends Country Club on July 13 featured a tightly contested competition, with two teams finishing atop the leaderboard at 9-under-par 63 to share the championship.

Representing Family Golf & Learning Center, Blake Sharamitaro, PGA and Bob Gaus, PGA put together a bogey-free round highlighted by nine birdies. The duo turned in 3-under 33 on the front nine before catching fire on the back, playing the final nine in 6-under 30 to secure their share of the title.

Matching their score was the Old Hickory Golf Club team of Kyle Williams, PGA and Nick Messinger, PGA. The pair got off to a fast start with a 5-under 31 on the front nine and continued their steady play on the inward side, adding four more birdies to close with a 4-under 32 and finish at 9-under 63.

Both teams showcased outstanding teamwork throughout the day, carding clean rounds without a bogey to finish tied atop the leaderboard and earn co-champion honors at this year’s Gateway PGA Pro-Staff Championship.
