Brandon Veld, David Abolt and Loel Fischer all found the course to their liking by posting scores of 67 to have a 3 way tie in our Regular Division, resulting in a playoff at The Southern Illinois Open at Quail Creek CC, site of the Robinson Open on the PGA Tour, in Robinson, Illinois.

The playoff started on the first hole, a short par 4 where everyone hit mid irons off the tee. Veld and Fischer found the fairway but Abolt found the left rough. Abolt got it out of the rough to just off the green, left, while both Fischer and Veld found the putting surface. Abolt chipped on close and had to wait. Fischer could not convert for birdie, leaving Veld a 9-10 foot putt for the win which he rolled into the heart of the hole for the win.

The event was shortened to 18 holes after a very isolated heavy rain storm hit just as we were about to get started, pushing back our start time until 10 a.m.

The Senior Division was won by Kevin Triefenbach with a great score of 70. He was the only senior division player to break par. Kevin is in good form after just qualifying for the National Senior PPC last week.

The Super Senior Division winner, Gary Mitchell, defended his title from last year. Mitchell carded a round of 74 to just edge out Jeff Whitfield by one shot.

Thank You to Jerry Pasco and all the Staff at Quail Creek CC for a great event!
