The 2019 Gateway PGA Assistant Professional of the Year is Jeffrey Schulte from Bellerive Country Club. The Gateway PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year Award is the highest achievement the Association can bestow on a working assistant professional whose total contributions to the game best exemplify the complete PGA Assistant Professional. This award embraces a wide range of services executed by the Assistant professional.

Jeffrey Schulte, PGA Assistant Professional at Bellerive Country Club, has been a part of the Gateway PGA Section since attaining membership in January of 2016. Jeffrey has had a passion for club making and fitting since the day he first touched a club. In high school, he began building his own irons and wedges. Through this experimentation, he started to learn how much equipment can greatly help or hinder the enjoyment a golfer has playing golf. As a full-time Assistant, Jeffrey spends much of his time fitting and building clubs for Bellerive’s members, non-members, and fellow Professionals. As a certified Master Fitter, Jeffrey currently serves on the National Callaway Fitters Board. He is also an Advisory Staff member for UST Mamiya shaft company.
