Gateway PGA Tournament Schedule Begins Monday June 8th

The Gateway PGA Section will begin its 2020 tournament schedule on Monday, June 8th at The Legends for a Stroke Play Event. We’ve had to augment our tournament schedule in such a way that abides by the separate stay-at-home orders and dates. Our situation is unique because our Section boundaries include parts of the state of Missouri, state of Illinois, St. Louis County, St. Louis City and the surrounding counties. We will continue to be flexible as we adhere to state and county guidelines. While some communities may be able to reopen at a faster rate, others may need to continue restrictions to keep the virus from spreading. Thus, our schedule will be creative in nature.

Additionally, the PGA of America, White House and CDC have been working to develop proper guidelines for golf that align with the White House’s three phases of “Opening Up America Again.” Working with these guidelines will ensure the health and safety of our Members, staff and the facilities in which we operate. We will send out a document with comprehensive Gateway PGA tournament guidelines specific to COVID-19 in the coming weeks.
