Dear Gateway PGA Section Juniors & Parents,
We hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. As the spring continues & the summer season approaches, the Gateway PGA REACH Foundation would like to update you on the status and our intentions for the 2020 Gateway PGA Junior Golf Season. At the bottom of this message, you will also find ways for your family to remain active with Gateway PGA Junior Golf and an updated list of Gateway PGA Junior Golf event postponements.
It is our every intention to provide an exceptional junior golf experience for our Gateway PGA Junior Tour & Junior Development Tour members this summer. We are confident that on the other side of COVID-19, we will be stronger together. Gateway PGA Junior Golf will be a positive & safe place for junior golfers and their families to return to.
With our shared eagerness to return to junior golf, we have officially re-launched summer registration in “payment pending” mode. This means that Gateway PGA Junior Tour members will be able to register for events without paying just yet. When you register for an open summer tournament, your spot will be reserved, but your credit card will not be charged until we are certain that the event can safely take place. We will keep all registrants informed about event decisions and provide notification prior to processing your payment for each event.
2020 Gateway PGA Junior Golf Schedule & Open Registration
In making future decisions, we will continue to assess the status of COVID-19 and strictly adhere to CDC guidelines. We assure you that your family’s well-being, safety, and comfort is our first priority. Our Gateway PGA Junior Golf Team is working hard to implement practical safety measures to keep everyone safe and comfortable when junior golf tournaments resume. Gateway PGA Junior Golf health & safety protocols will be made available to all junior golfers, parents/spectators, Gateway PGA Junior Golf staff, and facility staff prior to the start of each junior tournament.
Please know that if your family is uncomfortable participating when the Gateway PGA Junior Golf Season resumes, we will sincerely understand and respect your decision. We acknowledge that this is a difficult and evolving situation. Our constant position is that we are in this together with our junior golf members & families. We only ask that you remember the Gateway PGA Junior Golf community down the road.
