David Abolt Wins Stroke Play #2 at The Legends

David Abolt fired a 3-under 69 on Tuesday, May 28th at Stroke Play #2 at The Legends. Abolt (The Country Club of St. Albans) used four birdies and 13 pars to take home the win.

“I hit most of the fairways, I think I only missed one fairway and I missed two or three greens,” Abolt said. “So, I hit the ball really well today.”

Following Abolt in the Regular Division was Bob Gaus (Family Golf & Learning Center) & Mike Suhre (Oak Brook GC) who tied for second place at 2-under 70.

The Senior Division was decided by a one-hole playoff that Bob Gaus won over David Levine. The Super-Senior Division was won outright by Levine.

The third Stroke Play event is on Monday, June 24th at The Quarry at Crystal Springs.
