ST. CHARLES, Mo. (September 24, 2019) – Brian Fogt defeated Kevin Triefenbach in the Senior Match-Play Championship at Lake Forest Country Club last week. Fogt defeated Rob Sedorcek in a semifinal match while Triefenbach advanced the the Championship by defeating Mike Tucker in 19 holes.
The field of 16 started play early this summer and through the season, as Triefenbach, Fogt, Tucker and Sedorcek all advanced to the final day and final matches at Lake Forest Country Club on Tuesday, September 24th.
Fogt used a handful of birdies early in the final match against Triefenbach to pull away and finish with a 5-and-4 win.
