Best Buy Teen Tech Center Has Served Almost 300 Students Since February

The Best Buy Teen Tech Center has served almost 300 kids since opening in February 2019. Students have the option to attend classes in podcast creation, creating videos on YouTube, building games, learning how to create music and even learning how to take technical skills into the theater and play setting.

The Best Buy Teen Tech Center at Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis is a spot where club members receive free access to state of the art technology and prepares students for potential careers in graphic design, music producer or director, 3D animator, game developer, and much more. This Summer alone, 182 kids ages 10 years old and up have registered for Summer Camp designed around learning how the technology works and creating cool new inventions of their own.

The Gateway PGA REACH Foundation partnered with Premium Retail Services, the Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, and members of Bellerive Country Club to initially attract this Best Buy Teen Tech Center to the North St. Louis City location. Other national and local companies have subsequently added their support, as well.
