Justin Auping and Jeffrey Schulte of Bellerive Country Club shot an impressive two round score of 127 (-17) in the Sterling Cut Glass Team Championship at Dalhousie Golf Club on Monday, August 15.
Auping and Schulte were consistent in their two rounds shooting a 64 (-8) followed by a 63 (-9). The duo started round one on hole seven and proceeded to shoot two-under on their first three holes. On the traditional back nine the combo used six birdies and three pars to move to eight under.
After a quick break for lunch the group headed to hole three where they proceeded to birdie the first three holes. The tandem remained at three-under for the next six holes before going four-under on holes 15-18. With two holes left, the couple birdied each to sign their scorecard at 63 (-9) for the final round.
Kyle Szyhowski and Eric Ewing came in second with a score of 130 (-14) while Shane Blankenship and Daniel Frost rounded out the podium with a score of 131 (-13).
