SOFT GOODS SALESPERSON OF THE YEAR: Anthony Gabriel
The 2019 Gateway PGA Soft Goods Salesperson of the Year is Anthony Gabriel. Anthony is the FootJoy Sales Representative based in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, he graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana with a B.S. in Kinesiology. After graduating, he began his career with the Acushnet Company in January of 2008 when he was hired by Titleist as a Customer Service Representative at their HQ based in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. While with Titleist, he held multiple positions including lead fitter on the Midwest Fitting Team. After 5 years with Titleist, he accepted a position with FootJoy as National Accounts Merchandiser and Trainer for the Northeast US covering a territory from New Hampshire to New Jersey. After 2 years in this position, he then accepted a newly created position as an Associate Sales Representative based in Sarasota, Florida. He then moved to St. Louis to be the FootJoy Sales Representative in 2016. In 2017 he received his first Gold Circle award with FootJoy, an award given to the top 10% of the field sales reps.
