2020 was especially challenging with trying to socially distance from one another and keep the junior golfers engaged. For the 2020 Jr. League season, three of the Gateway Section Professionals really stepped up to the plate as Jr. League Captains and fulfilled that mission. Their guidance and positive “can-do” attitudes made an impact on our community’s youth and improving their golf game. Mike Suhre, Donald Kueper, and Clayton McGowan were each awarded for being a 2020 Game Changer Captain. This award is given to those captains that have the largest number of registered juniors in each of the 41 sections. All three PGA Professionals were in the top 5. Congratulations gentlemen and thank you for your dedication to junior golf.
