Dedication, endurance, and a passion for giving back were on full display at Sunset Hills Country Club yesterday as golfers gathered for the annual 100 Holes for Heroes event in support of PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere).

Teams teed off as early as 5:30 a.m., taking on the incredible challenge of playing 100 holes of golf in a single day, all to raise funds and awareness for veterans throughout the local Gateway PGA community. The event brought together PGA Professionals, members, and supporters united by one mission: using the game of golf to positively impact the lives of those who have served.

Created by Jon DePriest, PGA, Head Golf Professional at Sunset Hills Country Club, the event continues to grow as a meaningful way to support PGA HOPE programming across the region. In addition to organizing the event, DePriest also leads PGA HOPE clinics at Sunset Hills, helping veterans find community, camaraderie, and healing through golf.

PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. The program introduces golf to veterans and active-duty military members as a means to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.

Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved, 100 Holes for Heroes once again
