 Pepsi Litte People's Golf Championsips

Crimson Callahan and Reis Dreyer tied for the Westview Men's Club Sportsmanship Award for Boys for 2010.

Crimson, a regular contender in Pepsi Little People's and well-known for his knickers and golfing attire, was nominated by two fellow competitors and by a Little People's Tournament Committe member for the honor.

"Crimson never got mad after any shot" and "He is a great kid.  He always hit a good shot, a good putt, and a good chip" were a couple of comments made by his fellow competitors.  A PLP committee member stated that "Crimson made it a point to always take off his hat and shake hands at the end of each round.  He always did that even when he was playing as a little guy at KC.  At the end of the tournament, even though he played at River View, he made a point of coming back to Westview to personally thank the commitee for puttng on a great event."

Crimson is playing in the 18 Hole  12-13 age division in the Gateway Junior Golf Program this year. He is the son of Todd & Laura Callahan of Chesterfield.

Congratulations Crimson from your friends at Gateway PGA!!

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN PLAYING COLLEGE GOLF?

Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL, is looking for one more male player to complete our Men's Golf Team Roster.  Our incoming full scholarship freshman for 2010/11 are Devlin Keenoy and Dan Weiler from Edwardsville High School and Colin Alvers from Collinsville High School.  Travis Harmon from Metro East Lutheran is a returning sophomore.  We have the core for a very nice team and are needing one more good player.  We will be one of the top teams in our conference and our region.  There is one full tuition waiver available for the player who is the right fit.  We took one player, Shane Smith, Marquette High School, to the NJCAA Nationals in Phoenix, AZ, this year and he earned 2nd Team All American honors.  The Trailblazers of LCCC are planning another trip to the Nationals next year.  If you feel that you are a good fit, please contact:
