The Gateway PGA Section hosted Stroke Play #2 at Gateway National Golf Links on Monday, June 3. Miquel Romera Marco (Old Warson CC) took home the Regular and Assistant Division with a score of 70 (-1) after defeating Blake Sharmitaro (Family Golf & Learning Center) in a three-hole playoff. Jimmy Bals (Forest Hills CC) and Bob Gaus (Family Golf & Learning Center) tied at 71 (E) in the senior division, while Gaus won the Super Senior trophy as well. Rounding out the division was Emily Van Rie, who took home the Ladies title.

He added a birdie on 11 and forced a playoff with Romera Marco. The two battled and recorded pars on the first two playoff holes. Romera Marco sank a close putt on the third hole for par to take the title.

Bals used birdies on holes 10, 11, and 18 to shoot even. Gaus spread his birdies throughout the round. He sank putts on three, 11, and 18 to finish even as well.
