On Monday, June 2nd, Gateway National Golf Links hosted an official Stroke Play event that showcased thrilling performances across all divisions. Brett Moomey, PGA, clinched the top spot in the Regular Division with an incredible 17-foot putt on Hole 18, edging out Kyle Syzhowski by one stroke on the final hole. In the Senior Division, Shawn Barnes, PGA of Gateway National Golf Links, claimed victory, boosting him to third place in the Player of the Year standings.
Bob Gaus, PGA, continued his phenomenal year by securing his third tournament trophy, his second in the Super Senior Division, maintaining his lead in both the Senior and Super Senior standings. Meanwhile, Emily Van Rie celebrated her second trophy win in the Ladies Division, propelling her to the top of the Women’s division with victories in both tournaments she has played this season. Blaise Haxel delivered an impressive performance to triumph in the Assistants Division, wrapping up a memorable day of golf at Gateway National.
