This week’s 36-hole stroke play event took place at Norwood Hills Country Club, featuring strong competition across both the regular and senior divisions.
Kyle Szyhowski, PGA representing Norwood Hills, claimed the win in the Regular Division with a total score of -5 under par across the two rounds, while having two double bogeys on Hole 13 and Hole 10. His steady play of birdies throughout the day led him into a playoff with Matt Gindler, PGA where Szyhowski secured the win with a well-placed drive and an impressive approach shot to close out a long day of golf.
In the Senior Division, Michael Tucker, PGA of Bellerive Country Club finished at +1, earning him the top spot among the senior competitors. His consistent play across both rounds helped him separate from the field. Tucker shot and 74 in the first 18 holes and finished the second round with an impressive score of 69.
Thank you to Norwood Hills Country Club for hosting, and congratulations to both Kyle and Michael on their performances.
