Nash Haxel and Curtis Brokenbrow of The Quarry at Crystal Spring won their second team event of the year at the Pro-Pro Scramble at Franklin County Country Club on Monday, May 12. The Quarry team shot an impressive 61 (-10), which included 11 birdies. They edged Kyle Williams and Jay Roux of Old Hickory Golf Club and WingHaven Country Club by one stroke.

The pair started on Hole 2 and marked a bogey on their card, their only plus mark of the day. Before making the turn to the back, the team sat 5-under. On the back nine, the duo continued their pace and shot 5-under before playing their last hole. On Hole 1, they pulled away from Williams and Roux, thanks in part to a great approach shot from Brokenbrow and a clinching putt from Haxel.

Williams and Roux opened the tournament on Hole 18 with a par, their first of four consecutive. The team hit the switch on Hole 4 where they rallied nine birdies over the next 13 holes, putting them one shy of The Quarry team.

Thank you to Mike Parmentier and the Franklin County Country Club for hosting another great event.
