The Gateway PGA Section is proud to announce a new partnership with FLAGD Golf. Founded in 2019, FLAGD Golf offers a GPS distance measuring solution that streamlines the process of setting up the practice range each day and provides members and guests with a simple and accurate way to practice more efficiently.

The Gateway PGA Section is excited to partner with FLAGD to expand the use of golf technology with our PGA Professionals and facilities,” Gateway PGA Executive Director Ali Wells, PGA mentioned. “Members at Persimmon Woods Golf Club and The Country Clubs of St. Albans have raved about the system since its implementation.”

“We are extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with the PGA Gateway Section to provide member courses with a new solution to an old problem,” said Troy Parish, Founder and CEO of FLAGD Golf. “Our goal at FLAGD Golf is to provide customers with innovative technology solutions that help modernize Golf while protecting the aesthetic integrity of the game. We look forward to sponsoring and participating in PGA Gateway events throughout the year.”

“The Country Club of St. Albans introduced FLAGD Golf to our membership in the summer of 2021,” Director of Golf Joe Schwent, PGA, voiced when asked about the system. “After many years of ‘babysitting’ the correct numbers getting posted at the practice facility, we now have an extremely reliable system. The devices have been caught in the rain a few times and we have had no issues.”

“Troy Parish and FLAGD Golf have been great partners with Persimmon Woods since we met at the PGA Show in 2020,” Ben Kent, General Manager of Persimmon Woods Golf Club. “We have found their meaningful communications, excellent customer service and transparency to be steadfast since day one. FLAGD was easy to install and provides our members and guests with a meaningful amenity that personalizes their experiences at an affordable price. I would highly recommend FLAGD to PGA Professionals looking to enhance their practice facilities!”

The Section is the eighth section to participate in a partnership joining Carolinas, Colorado, Illinois, Middle Atlantic, Northern California, as well as Northern and Southern Texas.
