The race for the Player of the Year Awards continued on Monday, July 17, at Franklin County Country Club. The event saw a close finish in all four divisions. JD Auping (Bellerive Country Club) shot 69 (-2) to take home the Regular Division. David Levine (Berry Hill Golf Course) took home the Senior and Super Senior trophies with a score of 70 (-1). In the Assistant’s Division, Cory Cowsert (The Legends) sat atop with a score of 71 (E).

After starting with a double bogey on his first hole, the sixth, Auping settled down with three pars. As he made the turn to the natural back-nine, he eagled the 518-yard par-five to even his scorecard. He birdied holes 14 and five to move him to two-under for the day.

Levine, who finished one-under on the day, recorded six birdies and seven pars on the way to his two victories. Cowsert finished even with the help of four birdies and 10 pars.

Thank you to the PGA Tour, Golf with Jay Delsing, and Evolve Golf for sponsoring the event. We would also like to thank Franklin County Country Club and Michael Parmentier for hosting the event.
