The Gateway PGA hosted the inaugural CK Golf Brands Pro-Pro Scramble at Franklin County Country Club on Monday, April 22. Matt Gindler and Will Scheipeter from Greenbriar Hills Country Club took home the blue and gold trophies with a score of 60 (-1) thanks in part to a hole-in-one by Gindler. Tied for second place were the teams of Jay Roux (WingHaven CC) – Kyle Williams (Old Hickory GC) and David Mueller (Meadowbrook CC) – Cory Cowsert (The Legends) at 62 (-9).

The Greenbriar Hills crew started their day on hole five and recorded four birdies in their first five holes. After a birdie on the 518-yard par-five 10th hole, Gindler used his 8-iron on the downhill 170-yard par-3 to hit the first hole-in-one of the Member Tournament season. In total Gindler and Scheipeter recorded seven birdies and two eagles on the way to the title.

Roux and Williams had eight birdies and an eagle. At one point the squad recorded four straight birdies on the way to a second-place tie. The other side of the tie saw Cowsert and Mueller write down nine birdies with three of them coming in the last four holes.
