PGA WORKS Fellow May 2022 – May 2023
Karena Ballard is a 2022 graduate of George Mason University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication with a concentration in public relations with a minor in sports communication. In the summer of 2021, Ballard served as a Community Relations intern for Lionsbridge FC, a USL League 2 team. During her time with Lionsbridge, she discovered her passion for community and fraternity that encompasses the sports experience. She continued her sports journey in the Fall of 2021 while interning for the Norfolk Admirals, an ECHL hockey team. Ballard is excited to grow during her time as the PGA Reach Works Fellow. She looks forward to learning more about the world of golf and hopes to bring a diverse perspective to the industry.
