In the Summer of 2023 Fernando departed the Gateway Section and started a position with St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club.

Fernando was born in Guatemala and lived there until he was 12 before moving to St. Louis with his family. Fernando attended Maryville University and went through their Rawlings Sports Business Management program. While attending school, Fernando interned for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Soccer FC, and the 2016 Senior PGA Championship. He was the first PGA WORKS Fellow in the Gateway Section back in 2018. After his fellowship, Fernando worked for Golf House Kentucky and the Kentucky PGA as their Player Development Coordinator. His hobbies include playing and watching soccer, exercise, and spend time with his friends and family.
