On May 10th, 2021 Missouri native and PGA Professional Tour Member, Adam Long, came home to visit where his golf journey began: the clubs he once played at, visiting with old coaches and friends, and a special day with the Gateway Section. Adam hosted a Junior Clinic at Old Hickory Country Club, showcasing his warmups, tee shots, and the kids favorite, a “Happy Gilmore” swing. The junior golfers were wide eyed with their signed TaylorMade and Titleist hats, listening to every tip and story that the PGA Tour Professional shared while accompanied by a past coach, Brian Fogt, PGA.

Following the Junior Clinic, Adam hosted an “Unplugged” Chat with PGA Professional, Jay Delsing. The evenings festivities began with a cocktail hour to celebrate the PGA REACH Gateway Foundation Supporters. Once the guests of the evening were seated, Adam and Jay shared stories of being on Tour followed by a round of questions by the audience. During the evening there was also a silent auction filled with signed items gifted by Adam. Both events were a success based on the joy on each attendee’s face and it was a great opportunity for PGA REACH Gateway!
