Local Best Buy Teen Tech Center Team Are Finalists at ‘The Global RE@CH Media Festival’

Nyah Perkins, alongside other members of The Best Buy Teen Tech Center @ Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club right here in St. Louis, are finalists in the “Music (audio only)” category for ‘The Global RE@CH Media Festival.” Their song “You Don’t Need Me Now!” was written, produced and performed by four of the club members at the brand new Best Buy Teen Tech Center in North St. Louis.

Brandon Matthis also created a short documentary film about the benefits of being in the Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis and using the studio at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. His video is entered in the “Documentary Video” category.

The Global RE@CH (Revolutionizing Expression @ The Clubhouse) Media Festival is an outlet for youth around the world to express themselves and explore issues most important to them. Clubhouse and Teen Tech Center members created media based off their personal experiences, showcasing their talents and submitted that content to be voted on.

Voting is now open to the public for 5th Annual Festival! The submissions have been narrowed down to 185 finalists in 12 categories.

“Submissions came from across The Clubhouse Network, an international community of more than 100 Clubhouses located in 20 countries, providing youth with life-changing opportunities for more than 25 years,” – Clubhouse Network.

Voting is open March 2, 2020, 8:00 AM ET through March 20, 2020 at 11:59 PM.
