Inaugural Junior Golf Day raises money for Gateway PGA REACH Foundation

On October 6th, the Gateway PGA Junior Tour hosted the Inaugural Junior Golf Day Marathon where Junior Tour golfers help raise $5,569 for the Gateway PGA REACH Foundation. Junior golfers were invited to raise money for junior golf in the Gateway Section as they pledged to golf as many holes as they could in one day. Ten Gateway PGA Junior Tour members and Director of Junior Golf Nolan Toovey played as many holes as they could in one day and raised money to support their efforts.

Nolan played 100 holes while juniors Ally Suhre & Harper Ackermann each played 109 for Junior Golf Day, all from sun-up to sun-down in one day. Junior Golf Day included unconventional challenges sprinkled throughout the golf course, like a chipping contest over a ladder, long-drive competition, and much more.

The money raised will be used to advance the already successful efforts of the Foundations three pillars of programming; Youth, Military and Diversity & Inclusion.
