All schedule changes must be made in writing or a direct phone call (no messages or email). Include the following: name, address, phone number, age group, tournament event number/s wishing to drop and add, and 2-3 substitution choices per tournament. Submit your schedule change request, with applicable fees ($10.00 non-refundable fee per change), to the Gateway PGA Section Office. All schedule changes are dependent upon space availability. Changes made before May 25 are free if done through our office.
Refunds
Prior to May 1, 2010 refunds are made only in the case of a medical emergency with the exception of a $75 administrative fee, which is not refundable. After May 1, 2010, no refunds are available. Failure to attend the required rules seminar will result in the forfeiture of all fees and eligibility to play.
Rain Policy
No rain-dates are available. If an event is cancelled due to weather, the junior MUST check the schedule for another event that is not filled, and call to enter that event at no additional charge. Credits will not be given if a 9 hole event completes five holes of play or an 18 hole event completes 9 holes of play, no rescheduling will be allowed. Medals will be awarded.
No Show Policy (NS)
If a player fails to withdraw from an event in accordance with the withdrawal policy, and does not play, it will be considered a no-show, a tournament credit will not be authorized. If an emergency situation causes a no-show, the Gateway PGA Staff could authorize a tournament credit.
Gateway PGA Junior Publicity and
Broadcasting Policy
In consideration of the player’s participation in the Gateway PGA Junior program, the applicant and the parent/guardian do hereby release the Gateway PGA to the recording and/or transmission of his/her voice and image and to being filmed, videotaped, photographed and/or televised in connection with his/her participation in the Gateway PGA Junior program conducted in conjunction with the events: waives, releases and assigns his/her private rights to: the production, reproduction, publication and dissemination of any recordings. Transmissions, video recordings, motion pictures, photographs, images and all other electronic transmissions which depict him/her as a participant in the Gateway PGA program or any affiliates or use in connection with advertising, promoting, publicizing the programs or any broadcast thereof, and subsequent events in perpetuity. The applicant grants and assigns his/her individual media/photo rights in perpetuity respecting participation in the competition without exception to the sponsors, the Gateway PGA Section. A parent/guardian signature or agreement will be required when entry applications are processed by the Gateway PGA or online with Blue Golf.
